Il volume nasce dall’insoddisfazione avvertita nei confronti di una contemporaneità che considera pensieri, discorsi pedagogici e prassi educative del tutto estranei ai più generali problemi che caratterizzano la nostra epoca. Di fronte al conseguente manifestarsi di un evidente disagio educativo adulto, è invece convinzione delle autrici che oggi più che mai sia necessario e urgente che la pedagogia debba porsi con maggiore incisività e autorevolezza nel dibattito scientifico, politico e culturale. Di conseguenza la pedagogia deve trasformarsi in un sguardo critico sul presente e contrastare, dal proprio punto di vista, la carenza diffusa di progettualità e, con essa, la perdita del senso stesso dell’avvenire.

This book springs from the dissatisfaction seen in towards the contemporary world that considers thoughts, pedagogic discourses and educational practices to be totally removed from the more general problems that characterise our era. Faced with the consequent manifestation of clear adult educational difficulties, today more than ever the authors believe that it is both necessary and urgent that pedagogy can and must be more incisive and authoritative in the current scientific, political and cultural debate, becoming a critical eye on the present and, from its own point of view, fighting the widespread lack of life projects, and with it, the loss of the very sense of the future.
