Born in Rome in 1966, he is an associate professor at the Department of Mathematics and Physics of Roma Tre University. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics (Logic and Theoretical Computer Science) from Paris 7 University and afterwards he has been a CNR researcher. His research is at the intersection of computer science and pure mathematics: logic, computational number theory, cryptography, computational methods for systems biology.
