Luminiţa Botoşineanu is a senior researcher at the Department of Dialectology and Sociolinguistics, the “A. Philippide” Institute of Romanian Philology – the Iasi Branch of the Romanian Academy. Areas of competence: Romanian and general dialectology, socio- and psycholinguistics, phonetics of the Romanian language and general phonetics, pragmalinguistics, lexicology-lexicography.
