Filippo Petrucci holds a Phd in in History of Africa. His research is focused on the presence of Jews in Northern Africa, and he is currently a Post–Doctoral fellow. He has participated in numerous conferences in Italy, France and Israel on his research subjects (among others organized by Yad Vashem and the Ben–Zvi Institute in Jerusalem), has published several articles on the «North African Jewish world» and the book Gli Ebrei d’Algeria e Tunisia (1940–1943) (La Giuntina, Firenze 2011).
