Maria Ficara, professional conference interpreter and translator, holds an M.Phil. in Literary Translation from Trinity College, Dublin, where she also obtained her Ph.D. Her research focuses on the theoretical interface of her practices as a translator of poetry (Edwin Morgan, Peter Sirr, Enda Wyley), and theatre dramaturge, combined with herinterest in Yeats’s dramatic works.
