This work is dedicated to the experimental investigation of the Kaonic Hydrogen (KH) atom, the simplest bound system among the Light Kaonic Atoms (LKA). The presence of the Kaon particle in the system allows the study of the strangeness sector at low energies, providing access to a fundamental low energy parameter: the complex s-wave Kaon-proton scattering length aKp. The energy shift ε and the width Γ of the X-ray transitions of the Kaonic Hydrogen are extracted from the spectra acquired by the experiment SIDDHARTA (SIlicon Drift Detector for Hadronic Atom Research with Timing Application), performed at the collider DAΦNE of Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati. An overview of the theoretical frameworks and the experimental techniques developed in this field introduces the section dedicated to data analysis; different data analysis techniques suitably developed are presented and the obtained results are discussed.
