The book is aimed at educators of children of developmental age who attend school and sports fields. A method is proposed that has the purpose of allowing the child to activate, order and recruit, through directed attention, the mental functions suitable for environmental requests in moments of learning and situational adaptation, thus obtaining a capable “intelligent body” to adapt to different situations, able to acquire and then use simple and complex skills. The human nervous system is plastic, that is, capable of modifying its structure and functionality in relation to environmental experiences. Behind the behaviors there is the finalized action: the cognitive-motor functionality allows to “read” the environmental situations and ourselves in the situations, to understand, represent reality and make choices; the body is thus an expression of the mind. It is therefore necessary to understand how action is at the basis of thought and language. Symbolic languages, if generated by action, allow you to acquire and dominate concepts.
