The word Phraseology implies the group of fixed expressions and, at the same time, the science that studies them. The aim of this work is to analyse Phraseological Units coming from mythology and religion in order discover how they are translated into Italian. At the same time we will try to discover why the above mentioned Phraseological Units are important from a cultural point of view; we will also compare Spanish and Italian cultures. Tools of work have been monolingual and bilingual dictionaries.
