L’Europa tra potere e libertà
The essay questions the mutual establishment of power and freedom throughout the history of Europe. Its political philosophical finding is that the archè of the institution in which power and freedom combine together means at the same time both origin and command. This informs the myth and tragedy of Europe, even before its ancient and modern thinking. In fact, Europe cannot be conceived as a political power, as being capable of providing commands, if the freedom by which it is possessed does not rejoin the origin, does not correspond to its form of life. This is also the reason why outside the continuous fight of power and freedom in the vortex of the origin, in which its command is gathered, Europe is only technique, administration, government. Europe is never politics. Europe is rather institutions.
