Consumatore digitale e social network nel diritto dell’Unione europea
The digital transformation brought by Internet and digital technolo-gies are challenging the eu law, economy and society. The digital single market strategy seeks to grant the individual’s rights both as customer and data subject, to boost the consumer trust, reinforce the security in the handling of personal data and ensure a right environment for digital networks and services. Data protection law and consumer law protect the digital consumer, imposing eu jurisdiction on the “Big Players” of the market also with cjeu Judgements or international treaties. Into the Social Network the digital consumer has the right to control either the con-tract (as consumer) and personal data (as data subject), to safely exercise the rights to freedom of expression and opinion, and other fundamental rights in the modern marketplace of social interactions.
