In this article, after outlining an etymologic map of aspectuality, we propose a short investigation of the aspectuality of play and of the possible aspectualisations of its discourses. Crossing the categories ofperfect/continuous and completed/interrupted we propose four differentprimary forms of aspectualisation and we approach how they are used for creating discourses around play.
