The history of the Italian rationalism has a significant literature; thanks to many studies - often amonographic nature - that in the last thirty years had reconsider a phase in many ways still incomplete,filling a lot of blanks. This brief paper intends to draw the role that this phase of the history ofItalian architecture has had for the most important texts of the second half of the twentieth century
