La forma della menzogna. Una riflessione su Wilde e Nietzsche
Starting from a brief survey on the subject of «lie», this paper tries to analyze the original position of Oscar Wilde. Re-crossing The Decay of Lying emerges the double controversy basted by Irish writer: against realism in art; against the mistaken interpretation of the assumption that life is having to imitate art. In fact, in both cases, submitting to a record reproduction, art and life end with drawing to the creative principle and deceitful that only true art can express. In this sense, rather than representing an aesthetic conception, the Dialogue of Wilde approaches the positions that the young Nietzsche argues in his unfinished essay On Truth and Lying in a Extra-Moral Sense where the philosopher, bringing out the thrust of the anti-mimetic of living, shows plastic nature, metaphorical and radically artistic, of human being and its buildings.
