Sai Han, PhD (Anthropology) and Postdoc Fellow in Chinese Academy of Scoial Sciences. Associate Professor at Beijing Language and Culture University and the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. She is also Anthropology Professor at the Beijing Center for Chinese Studies, COACE (Tsinghua University), guest researcher at Université de Fribour and Boston University. Research interests include social changes of nomads in China, ecological anthropology, Chinese migration studies, ethnic and environmental history in China.
