Naimpally deals with a new class of function space topologies, – the proximal set-open topologies (POST) on the set of continuos functions and also on partial maps, by using proximity on the range space. Comparisons of POST with set-open topologies, uniform topologies, grph, Whitney and Krikorian topologies are given.
