My friend net is a novel written by two authors. Andrea Pamparana is a journalist affected by a Neuroendocrine Tumor (net), a rare type of tumor that arises from neuroendocrine cells. Antonio Bianchi is an endocrinologist who takes care of him at the Center for Neuroendocrine Tumors of the Gemelli University Hospital in Rome. The book narrates the efforts of Andrea Pamparana and Antonio Bianchi to fight cancer with the support of other physicians and healthcare providers working at the Center for Neuroendocrine Tumors. The preface is written by Prof Alfredo Pontercorvi, Chief of the Endocrinology Unit and Director of the Center for Neuroendocrine Tumors at Gemelli University Hospital in Rome.
