This book contains the Proceedings of the International Congress of the Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale (ALAI), held in Rome, 15–16 September 2016. The congress was focused on the analysis of the different forms of legal protection granted to arts applied to the industry, from a comparative perspective. A full session has been dedicated to the future of design rights, considering the impacts of the 3D Technology on IP paradigms. All papers were updated before their publication in order to take into account the latest legal developments.
