This book comprises four essays about biography of me- taphors in history of psychology, political philosophy of well–being, historiography of science, and metaphorology of the experience. The first one focuses on the uses and transfers of categories, objects and metaphors from the physical scien- ces to experimental psychology during the nineteenth century. The second one suggests the late Foucault’s biopolitics and pastoral power analysis as a form of government through well–being. On the third essay, the old and new historiography of science are discussed from the contemporary historical epistemology’s point of view. Finally, the fourth essay considers emotions as natural metaphors of the world.
