Miscellaneous Topics of Group Theory: Mashhad–Naples, 2005–2008

Area 01 – Scienze matematiche e informatiche

The present contribution is a collection of scientific communications, seminars and research activities in Group Theory during the years 2005-08. These have been done by some teams of Algebra of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (Iran) and of the University of Naples Federico II (Italy). Methods and approaches seem to be different, but, if one goes more deeply in the topics, then it is possible to discover many analogies and common points. Sometimes the solution of a mathematical problem is due to a suitable change of perspective of this kind. Indeed the spirit of communication and mutual exchange motivated us to write the present work.
