The volume examines the “Americanization” of English, focusing on the dominant role, in the XXI century, of American English from the grammatical, graphic, lexical and phonologic point of view towards two other variants of the language: British and Australian English. It also analyzes the phenomenon of the “Britishization” of American English and considers the possibility that both variants can compensate each other. The work, therefore, can be considered as one of the first contributions to a bibliography that nowadays is still limited and restricted.
