The book, which presents a new diagnostic method by detecting the FLIR equipment, is the result of research and many evaluation’s experiences made during the 2014-2016 biennium. Thermocameras’s potentials are illustrated in a simple and descriptive way, it is explained how to identify the stages of a muscle lesion and the presence of trauma that the player does not know that he had received. All this, and much more, thanks to the observation of warmth flows on the skin. The study was made possible through the monitoring on soccer’s professional athletes of the club U.S. City of Palermo. The greatest advantages of this diagnostic method are the objectivity of what is being analyzed and the easy repeatability, since the diagnostic evaluation may be repeated every time if is needed. Who will have the option of adopting this instrument, will be able to intervene in a timely manner on the possible traumatic event, taking advantage of the objectivity of a thermal representation made in the injured area but especially those who are refining the diagnostic capacity and consequently therapeutic.
